Further Investigations into Female Infertility with Rhiannon Lambert on the Viva Natural Health podcast.

I had the absolute pleasure of chatting with the wonderful Rhiannon Lambert on her Viva Natural Health podcast. If you know me, you know I absolutely love the opportunity to share my experience, break down complex clinical scenarios, and help you elevate your practice with real-world, actionable insights.

In this episode, we dove deep into some of the most challenging and complex aspects of female infertility and recurrent miscarriage. As practitioners, we often see clients who have been told everything is "normal" within standard reference ranges. However, we discussed why it is so critical to look beyond those standard boundaries. I shared how thyroid disorders (especially keeping an eye on that subclinical thyroid function), autoimmunity, clotting disorders, genetics, and Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS—the much-needed new name for PCOS!) can quietly disrupt a client's fertility journey.

deep-dive diagnostics & practical strategies

We didn't just discuss the "why"; we spent a lot of time on the "how" and the practical testing strategies you can bring to your own clinical space. I broke down my approach to:

  • Hormone Testing: Utilising the DUTCH test to get a comprehensive hormonal picture.

  • Gut Health: Incorporating GI MAP stool testing to evaluate systemic inflammation.

  • Genetics: Interpreting genetic panels (such as 23andMe and Lifecode Gx) and working with mutations like MTHFR.

  • Post-Natal Depletion: How maternal depletion after pregnancy is heavily linked to underlying thyroid issues.

In part two, we shifted the focus to egg and sperm quality, environmental toxicity, and providing clinical IVF support.

mentoring in the trenches

I don't believe in gatekeeping knowledge. What makes the AH Fertility Academy so different is that I don't teach dry theory, I teach exactly what I do every single day in my own active practice.

When you join us, you aren't just reading slides; I personally mentor each person through a supportive mix of group learning and intensive 1-2-1 sessions, helping you not only master complex clinical cases but also intentionally develop and scale your business.

Listen to the Episode: If you want to hear how I approach these complex investigations, grab a cuppa and have a listen to the episode. Let’s get you feeling confident, thinking outside the box, and helping more families have their babies!
